My name is Tomoki I. I have older brother and younger sister. My father is a police man. I like police, and I respect them. I think I want to become police such as father. He is in Yabe now. He works there. He comes to home to see our face and to talk to us. My home is located Konoha in Tamana.

If I can go abroad, I want to go to the United States of America. Because I love freedom and I heard that there is free country. Recently I'm too free but. I must be serious. Anyway, if I can live with host family, of course I go to USA, and I want to take a walk any city. My best of place in USA is Manhattan. I want to go to there as possible as.

Because I like "Friends" of American drama and its main place is there. I have seen all of it. I love it, so I have DVD of it.

I want to eat any American foods. I like to eat and I want to know a lot of taste. I’m interesting cooking little. I think that I would like to make various foods. In fact, my part time job is café’s work. The best of my favorite food is pasta. I like to eat and cook as it. I think that I want to cook foods for host family. My primarily purpose is to study English, and to talk it. I want to talk with host family positively. (255)

My treasure is companions and friends. It is important for me. I think that it is important for everyone. I want good time, for that purpose I need friends.

I don’t like time by one self. I like to play with my friends, play sports, go to city, etc… I like to stay home of friend too. When I work at a part time job, I would like to work pleasantly, for that purpose I think that I need companions too. If I find work, I make a lot of companions. It should be going to become enjoy work. But I must take many credits before I find work. I need to study very hard. I have become too lazy for two years. It’ terrible so much!

I have one more treasure. It is DVD of American drama’s “FRIENDS”. When I watch it, I can have very good time. I can study to watch it. It is about love and comedy. I laugh to watch it, I cry to watch it sometimes. I’m impressed much times watching it. That is a pretty nice drama, I think. The characters in “FRIENDS” are Jennifer Aniston in one of acting persons. She is Brad Pitt’s ex-wife. He has acted at “FRIENDS”. I think that’s just what one would expect of an actor. I was thought that his act is very nature, and nice guy. I have that DVD one to three, and final season. I want to collect all of them as soon as possible. (252)

A girl of name is Hannah in this book. She is working for old man whose name is Mr Duval. His work make people get on his glass-bottomed boat. He takes people to look at the beautiful fish and the coral reef under the sea. He pays her a little money, but she likes working for him. One day, a glass-bottomed big boat appears in front of them. The people board it and don't board Mr. Duval's boat. The big boat is Max's. He invites Hannah to work for it, but she refuse the invitation, and she says "Money isn't everything" . Next day, Mr. Duval's boat is under the water. They think that Max work that. The hurricane is coming the day. Hannah go to Max's house after it has passed the island, and he is pinned the roof and stone. She helped for him, then he seemed to pais money to her, but likewise she declined to be given it. She says "Money isn't everything", and he understood that.

a part time job

My part time job is cafe. I take a cake or some cakes for guests, and I make pasta, sandwich and salad. I have worked there for two years and two month. I earn for a month about ninety thousand yen, but I can't take about 8 or 9days holidays in a month. I'm very tired at every month, everyday too! I think that the cafe lack some persons. (69)

I like gamble. I go to gamble to pachinko or slot sometimes. My pay of a part time job often go out within three days. It seems that I am in "Daisakkai" this year.
